The Ministry of Health is responsible for making quality health care accessible to all Congolese, whether they live in urban or rural areas. It encourages the training of doctors and health personnel and facilitates their establishment in areas where they do not exist. It ensures the supply of quality medicines and the coverage of the health needs of the population. It ensures the supervision of public health establishments and ensures their proper functioning. The current Minister of Health is Dr. Oly Ilunga Kalenga.
