Did you know that a child has a better chance of performing well in school if reading is part of their routine? It has been shown that when a caring adult reads to a child fairly regularly, the child is more likely to do better in school. Reading to your child for at least 15 minutes a day can help them to learn new words, think critically about the stories, characters and ideas that they are exposed to.
