Promoting Well-balanced Ecosystems In response to the benefit from this forum by giving back to our local societies I really appreciate CSTL Pulse in Collaboration with 1 Million Youth Action Challenge and the Moderator Ambassador Willard Phinifolo from 1MYAC.
Previously we visited Lilongwe Wildlife Centre and had an interactive session with the Officer therein, Nthambi as a registered nonprofit entity we visualize education, climate change and environment as the driving indicator for a more sustainable future. Meanwhile we organized our pupils and embed them with genuine information on education, climate change and environment. Henceforth, Pupils were equipped to use education skills to question the Lilongwe Wildlife Centre Officer and find out how safety are the animals and the environment in general.
Thereafter, we have find out Climate change has produced a number of threats to wildlife throughout our parks. For instance rising temperatures lower many species survival rates due to changes that lead to less food, less successful reproduction, and interfering with the environment for native wildlife. And this risk is destabilizing the balance between wildlife and their ecosystem. As plants adapt to changing warming patterns, usually by blooming earlier or shifting to cooler locations, the wildlife that has adapted to them will be forced to face new environments.
And then, increased precipitation from climate change is contributing to more frequent and extreme weather events such as flooding. The higher frequency of flooding has detrimental effects on wildlife because they can destroy key pieces of ecosystems and habitats.
Finally we urge Lilongwe Wildlife Centre team to do everything possible to ensure safety Wildlife Centre and taking care for the environment. And to all the institution we should turn all our wildlife Centre visits into more sustainable and educative.
With regards
