From a wide perspective and evidence to some extend. climate change has an impact on the education sector directly through the effects related to the change of education infrastructure: loss of education materials, injury or mortality of scholars, teachers, parents and psychosocial stress that result from exposure to extreme weather occurrences. Exposure to climate shocks such as droughts and dry spells, floods has an unequal impact on children's development, affecting their diets and access to education. This impedes their learning progress with children from a poor background mostly affected. Conversely the negative school climate can harm students, pupils and raise liability issues for schools and local government locations.this lowers learners achievement and graduation rates.it creates opportunities for violence, bullying, suicidal practices and high rate school going drop outs and drug taking abuse by the youths. Extreme weather events such as tropical cyclones may end up destroying or damaging school structures, which would be of use to shelter people or act as evacuation centers for communities that are displaced from their homes. This leaves children to temporarily unable to attend and concentrate on their studies. And some may end up not returning to school to complete and achieve their future dreams. In parts of the tropics where there is exposure to extreme temperatures or rainfall in early life is associated with less years of children school attention. Climate crisis intersects with another crisis; interrupted education and widening inequalities during the covid-19 pandemic. Extreme hunger in some countries which leaves most households sleeping on an empty stomach. This affects school going children drop out since cannot concentrate and pick or understand teacher lessons in class and end up dropping out of school.
