I take this opportunity to appreciate all the hard work that has gone into making today possible. From the dedicated teachers who have guided and mentored you, to our project staff who have planned every detail, and of course, to each student participant who has prepared tirelessly. Thank you all for your efforts and commitment,” said Modong Viola Lino, a board member at the Excellence Foundation for South Sudan during her keynote speech.

For Viola, competitions like that are more than just contests; they are opportunities for growth, learning, and forging new friendships.

The Juba Secondary Schools Mini Competition (JSSMC) Grand Finale brought together two hundred ten (210) teachers, pupils, and students from eleven (11) secondary and primary schools across Juba city.  The event featured keynote speeches, music, dance and drama, spoken word art, poems, riddles, and a panel discussion graced by a representative from the directorate of education in Juba City Council.
