Smart Class Approach
Smart Classrooms offer so many benefits for our teachers and most of all, our students.The class will be set up in PODS equipped with a Smart slate and all-in-one, the wireless desktop just footsteps away. The classroom will also have a teacher's podium that houses a laptop and capability to house other multimedia that corresponds with the Smart-interactive whiteboard. The white board is mounted on the wall and can be used as regular whiteboard with touch screen access so that the teacher and students may "write" on the board with virtual ink.
Towards this end, we invite the private sector, organisations and individuals to support the campaign by sponsoring/ adopting "A Class Rooms" to effectively achieve the Smart Class initiative goals.

Ekukhanyisweni Primary School was established in 1980 and was originally situated at 3rd Avenue in Alexandra. Some prominent persons led by Mr. Leepile Taunyane saw the need to improve the building condition of the school. They then made it possible that the learners are moved to 6th Avenue where they
had erected some mobile structures.
Our Vision
Our Vision through the Smart Class Initiative is to enable and empower Ekukhanyisweni Primary School in Alexandra Township with necessary skills to deliver Education content through the usage of electronic devices in the form of tables and interactive boards.
Our Mission
To mobilize the private sector, organisation and individuals to support the Smart Classroom approach for Ekukhanyisweni Primary School.
