Education We are committed to improving education in rural areas by providing teaching aids and establishing Community Reading Zones. These zones aim to foster a love for reading and learning. We envision expanding these zones and equipping them with reading materials and computers. Our goal is to launch two more reading zones by the end of 2024 and more in the years to come. To foster love for reading and zero child trafficking while empowering the community change.
Community Empowerment To combat the factors leading to trafficking, such as low education and employment opportunities, we are working on establishing empowerment hubs. These hubs will serve up to 50 youths and adults at a time, providing them with skills and resources to improve their livelihoods and reduce their vulnerability to trafficking.
Trafficking Awareness Campaigns We aim to raise awareness about trafficking through campaigns in schools, churches, and communities. However, our efforts are currently limited by resources. We seek to expand our outreach to educate more people about the dangers and realities of trafficking.
Saving, Capital, and Loan Scheme Programme In poverty-stricken communities, we have introduced programmes to support family development and food security through seed capital and financial assistance. This initiative is designed to help families become more self-sufficient and improve their economic stability.
Talent Hub: With Uganda’s young population and uneven educational opportunities, we are working to balance education by promoting reading and providing teaching aids. Additionally, we are establishing a Talent Hub to develop and nurture local talent, ensuring that individuals can leverage their skills and opportunities for personal and community advancement. |
