About us
Echo Rural Arise Africa is a non-profit organisation dedicated to improving the well-being of individuals in marginalised communities, with a special focus on those at risk of human trafficking and exploitation. Our current focus is on Nakawuka, a village in Wakiso, Uganda, where many children and youth are ensnared in the cycle of khat farming and chewing, depriving them of educational opportunities and exposing them to various forms of labour exploitation.
