Oude Molen – A learning school for holistic education
Established in 1961 as the first Technical High School in the pre-democratic Cape Province, Oude Molen has become in 2008 the first technical high school to be awarded Dinaledi School status.
We focus on mathematics, science and technology teaching through the medium of English as the foundation for a holistic education. See our curriculum and our facilities.
We are a Maths and Science School with gender equity – 820 energetic learners, 15% of whom are girls. Most of our learners are from previously disenfranchised groups. We run on the principles that make Non Profit Organisations (NPOs) successful. Refer to our School Policies. Our academic staff are fully qualified professionals.
