Who are we?
- Education Support Unit: This to work with the local schools and provide pastoral and psychosocial support as COVID-19 and its impact affects the school environment. This unit will also work towards a youth development agenda that includes the establishment of an Educational Youth Resource Centre to be sustained by the local ecumenical body of churches, in a designated facility by a local church, serving as a conventional resource centre with a number of services for the local school-going youth. The idea would be to provide development workshops for youth, to cultivate sustainable exit opportunities for young people with life skills as well as marketable skills that enhance a progressive portfolio of experience for the work environment. We propose to have one each, of the Educational Youth Resource Centres in the three pilot districts.
