My name is Ntomboxolo Msomi.
I am the Teacher Assistant at Petrusville High School.
This is my update for Quarter 1 of 2024.
We completed the following activities of the spell2read2 write programme.
1. ORF test
2. Spelling
3. Consonants
4. Vowels
5.Online courses
6. Reading
Highlight of the first quarter was the learners were excited about spelling bee and the courses were insightful we gained so much knowledge and we also learn different words and their meaning.
The challenges I found were as follows sometimes we couldn't find the learners because the Teachers were also busy with them and we are having challenges with the computers since there are only two working computers in the school
In the next quarter I will be focusing on the spelling bee competition
