Who are we?
- Makhala Thekiso Girls Foundation is a civil society organisation that was established in 2018 November as a tool to empower young people to build resilience towards societal rigid norms and sustainable development. We have been able to engage over 380 young people in empowerment programs whereby we capacite them to change mindset from partriachal era to modern to allow evolution of life transit smoothly. We expose them to new ways to co-exist in harmony with all classes of people in our communities, bring education exchange programs closer to the area to create free access and inclusiveness of minorities. We have been to show case our contribution on our Facebook page (Makhala Thekiso Foundation) and working of boys and men to create balance of empowerment program between the two genders.
