Promote education and opportunity, helping children access resources that enable personal growth and future success.

Create safe spaces and programswhere young people can develop confidence, skills, and resilience. The organisation works holistically with children and communities to foster lasting, sustainable impact.

History & Focus

Established in 2025, the Foundation emerged from a community‑driven desire to support vulnerable children in KwaZulu‑Natal and beyond. Its founders saw the urgent need to bridge gaps in access to dignity‑related resources and support systems for youth.

Since its launch, Kukhanya Okuhle Foundation has initiated community campaigns — such as“Dignity, Hope & Futures”— aimed at mobilising support, basic supplies, and opportunities for both girls and boys in under‑resourced areas.

While still a young organisation, the Foundation’s efforts include:

Management Team

Kukhanya Okuhle Foundation is led by its Founder and Main Director, Nkanyezi, and is supported by a small but dedicated volunteer team.The organisation currently works with two active volunteers based in Durban, who assist with day-to-day activities and community programmes. In addition, there are four volunteers based in Johannesburg who support learners with university and tertiary application processes. The foundation also has one additional volunteer who assists on an occasional basis when support is required.

As a growing organisation, Kukhanya Okuhle Foundation values teamwork, commitment, and community service, and continues to build its volunteer and leadership capacity to strengthen its impact.

Fundraising

Kukhanya Okuhle Foundation has launched a crowdfunding campaign to raise funds for its community upliftment and youth support programmes.The campaign aims to provide essential resources such as food, school shoes, hygiene packs, sanitary pads, and comfort toys to underprivileged children. Funds raised will also support educational initiatives, including career guidance and assistance with university and college applications for learners in need. Through this campaign, the foundation seeks to mobilise public support and build a network of partners and donors who believe in empowering young people and restoring dignity in vulnerable communities.
