Organization Overview
ICF is a not for profit company that promotes schools and community safety by offering bullying prevention solutions to them.
ICF provides anti-bullying awareness including how bullying can promotes Gender based violence society; How our type of parenting styles promote bullying.
The foundation offers remedial activities for children who were previously bullying victims and Psycho-social support through their character building program.
Parents are also involved through positive parenting workshops and counselling.
To mitigate for poor academic performance, the organisation offers tutoring in Maths, English & Afrikaans.
Children also receive holiday programs and training in chess.
Background & History
ICF was founded by a philanthropist and children's right activist, Mrs Ipeleng Mofokeng in 2019. Although Mrs Mofokeng has been working with children in training and developing them since her tertiary years, where she founded what is now known as the Tsoseletso brigade. A first aid training in collaboration with St John's Ambulance back in 2006. The project today has produce almost a hundred healthcare professionals such as Doctors, nurses, paramedics and many more.
Mrs Mofokeng started ICF to help victims of bullying as she herself was one as a child. She saw the under-estimated effects of bullying and how many ignored them or believed them to be pity. She further created a program to mitigate this effects and assist children become leaders and overcome this 'peer abuse'
