My name is Zikhona Siwentu, I am a Teacher Assistant at Hanover Primary School, this is my update for quarter 1 2024
In this quarter I completed the following activities of spell2Read2write program .
1. ORF
2. Cursive writing
3. Vowels and consonants
4. Short stories
5. Video on small vowels and consonants
6. Alison course
7. Comprehension
8. Reading
Highlights: I enjoyed doing video with the learners and I also enjoyed doing the Alison course, It's inspiration and informative because in each topic I learned how to become a leader and a manager, team effort, decision making skills, thant was a challenge, my priority leaners passed English this term.
Challanges: I had to juggle between the Alison course and the duties that were given to me by my class teacher and the learners trying to get familiar with the new teacher's classroom and subject so that made them to drop their performance but with the help of spell2Read2write program they managed to pick up and was successful.
6. In the next quarter I will be focusing on Reading activities.
