Flow is the peak performance state where you feel your best and you perform your best. The good news is it’s hackable. “Flow” is the term used by researchers for optimal states of consciousness, those peak moments of total absorption where self vanishes, time flies, and all aspects of performance go through the roof.
Imagine if you and your team, during your working day, moved into states of optimal performance. Just think as to what that would result in, in terms of innovation, creativity, productivity, etc.
Achieving a state of flow, however, is not based on a decision to do it. There are varying processes and disciplines to achieve a flow state. It starts by understanding each individual's natural inclinations. Some lean towards creativity, while others may lean towards process and a highly structured environment.
The objective when creating a high-performance exponential team must include a drive towards individual flow.
